Another Rosedale firehouse

Was there ever a second firehouse, perhaps even belonging to a volunteer unit, in the Rosedale neighborhood of Queens?
I always read the thread called NYC and FDNY firehouses, and when I looked at the entry for Engine Co. 314, I realized that their firehouse is not the one I remember seeing there. The building I remember was on the north side of the Belt Parkway (perhaps it's already Sunrise Highway at that point) right before you cross into Nassau County. As I recall it was a two-story building with two or three apparatus bays. It was clearly visible from the highway.
I used to see this in the 1970s and 1980s on my way to the grandparents on Long Island.

I think you are referring to the Floral Park Vol. FD house on the east side of the Cross Island Parkway at Jamaica Ave./Jericho Turnpike exit. That's a number of miles north of Rosedale.

It is Bellerose Terrace FD located in Floral Park. As memory master mentioned, the firehouse is on the side of the Cross Island at exit 27

Thanks for your replies. I really thought I was on the south side of the island when I saw that, but apparently I wasn't.
