ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ELSE ON A NEW BATTALION CAR? I KNOW THAT FORD STOPED MAKING EXCURISION AND THAT FDNY WAS THINKING ABOUT PICK UPS ANY NEW UPDATES

The Expedition EL was Ford's way of replacing the Encursion, but they aren't diesel like the Excursions were. FDNY could possibly use those too

They have new GMC pickup trucks on order!  Ford lost the business because they no longer make a diesel SUV, they kind of shot themselves in the foot on this one since a diesel engine is mandatory so they can be refueled the same as engine companies.

I don't know if this is true or not but I heard from transportation at my job that Ford could not get the existing diesel engine they had to pass the new emission requirements so there is no diesel engine available until they come up with one to pass the emissions for the F-series vehicles.
