36 years ago today, at approximately 9:20 AM six heroic F.D.N.Y. Firemen were killed in the line of duty when the roof of the burning Waldbaum's Supermarket they were operating on collapsed.

Please take a moment today to remember these heroic Firemen and their families:

I was there, After Collapse... During Recovery...

It's One of the Reasons I eventually became an E.M.T.

CONTIUED RIP TO THE SIX... One of my worst days OTJ....the second Fire i worked at within 2 1/2 years where a BROTHER from my proby class made the Supreme Sacrifice.
