Here's my first hack at it. I got all of my information from this site, so anything that wasn't posted on the site won't be here. I didn't include things like "person under" or what appeared to be a relatively minor MVA, but DID include things like gas leaks and HazMat incidents. Any comments and/or suggestions are welcome.

Ray - Thank you for this interesting summary of odd jobs. Looks like serious MVAs, gas/fuel incidents, collapses, medical incidents and water emergencies. 33 incidents - looks like they may increase with wormer weather.

Subway/train/plane/boat incidents are probably another "Beyond the Fires" category and account for a lot of unusual runs that usually don't show up on our site unless serious. Many other medicals, MVAs, floods, odors (gas or smoke), investigations, elevators are unusual, difficult or lengthy.

E299 reports E299/TL152 quarters are flooded…BC52 is 10-84
Flooding in Bronx on Major Deegan Xpwy @ W. 230 St. @ approx. 03:45 hrs. E81-L46-S41-Hi-Axle1.
E81 requested Hi-Axle1 to respond to assist in removal of stranded motorists in flooded section of the highway. Hi-Axle1 removed 15 motorists. E81 requested MERV unit to respond to assess motorists who were stranded in water for an extended period of time

----------Chemical emergency in a vehicle. Possible chemical suicide attempt. Make this a 10-80 code 1.
----------We have (1) 10-37 code 1 and (2) 10-37 code 3's. Haz-Mat 1 mitigated the spilled substance
----------from the car. Duration 1 hour 31 minutes.
9/30/2021 Staten Island 10-80 All Hands U/C Box 4089
----------Contractor cut gas main gas main. National Grid on the scene. No special units required.

----------FDNY Marine 6 responded to the call of a person drowning in the East River. Members located
----------the individual bobbing their head above and below the waterline. Pilot William Tonner put
----------Marine 6 into position for rescue swimmer Firefighter Michael Krochak to enter the water, swim
----------and grab the person. Firefighter Ronald Cassar pulled Firefighter Krochak and the individual out

----------patient that fell approximately 10 feet underground. A high-point anchor was utilized that
----------allowed the Firefighters to stabilize and package the patient from the subsurface space. The
----------patient was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital.
11/30/2021 Brooklyn----Water Rescue---Box 3585
----------PD reported a man jumped off the Steeplechase Pier. Unclear if victim swam on his own power
----------to nearest set of rocks to the east of the pier and was rescued by the units off the rocks, or if
----------members went into the water to get him.

----------Engine 80 and Ladder 23 operated at 3409 Broadway for the technical rescue of a trapped
----------patient that fell approximately 10 feet underground. A high-point anchor was utilized that
----------allowed the Firefighters to stabilize and package the patient from the subsurface space. The
----------patient was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital.

----------PD reported a man jumped off the Steeplechase Pier. Unclear if victim swam on his own power
----------to nearest set of rocks to the east of the pier and was rescued by the units off the rocks, or if
----------members went into the water to get him.

Thanks for this post. The job has always been more than putting out fires, we all have many if not more stories of non fife incidents than fires.
