It takes a lot of reading and then writing to provide us with these facts

As we see here, the FDNY is very busy handling many other types of incidents, besides fires throughout the year.
In many cases requiring a special type of training, also risking their lives.

Let me also give a very SPECIAL THANK YOU to New York City's Police (NYPD) and EMS (FDNY-EMS) who also respond to these types of incidents.

BUT - WE MUST ALSO REMEMBEDR that NOBODY RESPONDS until the NYCs Dispatchers send them.
