Found some info on BI in the FAQ thread here but just have a few questions?For how long is it usually conducted are several buildings done per day or it all depends on the day? Is BI conducted in the first due area only? If Engine and Ladder are quartered together do both crews go to the same location or do they do it separately?

BI is done in 3 hour segments either the AM period 1000-1300, or PM period 1300-1600. The number of buildings done depends on factors such as the size of the building, if the unit gets runs during the period and several other factors. BI is conducted in the units administrative area, which could include up to the units 3rd due area. Units in the same quarters have seperate BI areas and do it seperatly.
