I just found this on a Facebook page:

As most of you heard today a house exploded in the Beverly neighborhood due to a natural gas explosion. Thank God the Sheehan family was not home. Sadly the family dog did not make it. The house is a total loss as well as everything in it. An account has been set up at Beverly bank to except cash donations. Also if you'd like to donate a gift card to any major store. Please contact me my cell is 773-490-6910, I will make arrangements to pick it up from you. Dan Sheehan is the Captain of Tower Ladder 10. This is a great CFD Family. Please share.

Here is a small gallery of pics from this fire.

The first thing that I noticed was E101 on a hydrant. I have no idea what they were doing at this fire; it was too far south for me to have thought they would be there before another Engine company due on th 2-11.

The next photo you see is a pickup truck, 5-6-4. That is kept at the Special Operations warehouse. It must have been a Special Call to the scene. I don't see a trailer hooked to it that I have seen in other pics, hauling a Bobcat. So I can't say for sure if they brought the Bobcat or something else with them to the fire.
And of course, G482 is a shops' spare Snorkel, running as Squad 5A.

5-3-0 is an unusual looking rig.  What is it?  Looks like maybe a big generator (or air compressor) right behind the cab.
