WORKING FIRE RESPONSE DUE TO MULTIPLE CALLS
19:55- "Engine 116 is on the scene, WE GOT A FIRE!"
CON-ED is requested for power lines down in the rear.
19:58- Batt. 18 is on the scene with a 2 story frame, fire on 1st and 2nd floor.
20:04- Batt. 18: 2 lines on the fire, primary search underway.
20:10- Batt. 18: primary completed, it is an occupied building. secondary searches have been started.
20:11- CV 2-7-4 is on scene taking over radio communication, 2 1/2 story frame building, 25x50, 2 lines on fire with slight extension to 6514 s. Sangamon (sec 4).
20:17- 2-7-4: secondary search is complete, batt 18 request O.F.I., fire is under control.
O.F.I. is 4-6-8
20:26- 2-7-4 reports R.I.T. is being returned, 2-7-4 is returning, and Squad 5 is available on the scene. Batt. 18 is resuming radio control.
20:30- Batt 18: fire is out. washing down. Eng 84 is picking up, both trucks are doing salvage.
2 adults and 10 children have been displaced.
