01:10- Primary search in progress, water on the fire.

01:12- Batt. 20 requests to ALS ambulances to report to 73rd and Troy.

01:13- An EMS Plan 1 for the still and box by orders of 4-5-5 (Field Officer)

01:17- 2-7-4 is on scene taking over radio operation.

01:18- Batt 20 reports fire under control still in process of searching.

01:23- primary search complete, secondary is in progress. 1 line to the basement.
Relocation: Eng 84 to 101, Eng 121 to 64, Trk 16 to 101.

01:27- 2-7-4 reports secondary search in progress. 2 lines on the fire, making progress.

01:36- The still and box alarm has been struck out by orders or 2-2-5 (Deputy District Chief)
all companies on the box are returning.

01:40- Final Search underway. EMS Plan 1 is secured by 2-2-5.

01:48- Final Search is complete companies are washing down.

It appears 2 people were hurt and 2 killed

Mother was out with her boyfriend in NW suburb since 4 PM. At 11 PM one of her sons texted her and said house was cold. She replied to turn on the space heater, with deadly results. Need a liscence to drive but don't need one to be a parent, go figure. Grumpy Grizzly :'(

she is being questioned by police. also has a past record for child endangerment.

4 felony counts of child endangerment filed 12/23/08. Each count 2-5 years jail time

she should be charged with 2 counts of manslaughter. she tried to play the sob story and cried in court about how she lost her kids. she practically murdered them.

Still Alarm: 2 engines, 2 trucks, chief
when confirmed fire: squad command van and R.I.T. companies(Chief and Truck) are sent.

Still and box: 4 engines, 4 trucks (1 truck is R.I.T. and one is a tower ladder), 4 chiefs (still, box, plans, and R.I.T. chiefs), squad, command van, deputy district chief.

every alarm after that is an additional 4 engines. the 2-11 is the only alarm where additional trucks are sent (3 more).

for car fires just an engine. but it it is a car fire on expressway 2 engines one stays off the expressway (in case of water relay), 1 truck, and 1 chief.

Pin-in accidents: 1 engine, 1 truck, 1 chief, squad, field officer (EMS), and ambulances.

accidents without a pin: usually just an engine but a truck can be sent if needed.
