Any pictures of the 68/69 ALF Tiller models ? .......Great rigs......i am not really a model collector but i did actually  put many miles on both..... a '69 we got brand new then a rebuilt '68 that we got after relinquishing our first '74 Seagrave Tiller......plenty of customizing done on our  ALFs .......some  good photos of the '69 can be seen in Rona Beames book Ladder 108........those interested in rigs could not keep up with us since we were always changing things like lights , logos , numbers, tool mountings etc.

I believe Code 3 is supposed to come out with a 1968/69 American LaFrance Tiller. It is supposed to be Ladder Co 103. I haven't heard anything about that lately though. I've been saving my pennies in my "penny jar" for a long time waiting to buy it. It is a similiar rig to what "68jk09" is referring to in the Ladder Co 108 book.

And I'll be waiting for that Code 3 Maurader II Pumpers to make its arrival. My collection of Code 3 is limited to FDNY only, but there are many of them. Now, if Code 3 really wanted to cater to a sick individual like myself, they could maybe build model NYC buildings. Like a High Rise, Taxpayer, Queen Anne, Private Dwellings, maybe even a subway track, and this 60 plus year old guy could start his own FDNY right on his living room floor. (Are you listening Code 3 ???)

Yeah . . . and maybe the Staten Island Ferry, and the Intrepid . . . why not the George Washington & Verrazano bridges . . . and, while we're at it, JFK airport (and, of course, the PAPD crash, rescue & fire units there, too)!   ;D  ::)

:) :) OK guys here goes. I live in Chicago after moving from Boston in 79. I will be going to the Code 3 days at PastTime. Bill is a very good businesman and he understands the needs/situations of his customers. My wife lost her job 2 years ago and was hired Friday not too far from P/T. She will photo and post ( I hope) all the new releases. To all my brothers stay low and stay safe!!!!!

;D ;DCode 3 day at Past-Time. The ALF tiller is fantastic. A lot of detail went into this model. They have a full compliment of ground ladders, including pompier/scaling ladders and a section of hose on the officer's side which I think might be for aerial pipe operations. The guys on this site who can kitbash will be very happy. Other rigs were FDNY E-33 Mack CF. And Code 3 will be involved in a breast cancer awareness program.Guys your wife/significant other will want you to buy this. I lost my first wife to breast cancer after 18 months of marriage and it really sucked. She buffed the Chelsea conflagration with me. But I met another woman, Friday was our 32nd anniversary. Her first day in Boston was on the way back from our honeymoon was a fifth alarm in Southie! Code 3 also had a prototype for the FDNY engines, talk was also for a scope ;D  ::)

I sure am looking forward to that FDNY ALF Tiller. Its supposed to be FDNY Ladder Co 103. And let me add, "Happy "32nd" Anniversary" to Mr and Mrs Grumpy Grizzly.
Mr and Mrs "NFD 2004" (aka Willy and Pumpkin "D") will be celebrating their 34th on October 9th. Mrs NFD 2004 has buffed a few fires in her days too. But not until she met her "Knight in Shining Armor".

RocklandFires,

Thanks for the pictures of Code 3's L-26.

I can see Code 3 doing 103, 26 and 31 but 114?

114 did not have a 1968/1969 ALF tiller, they had a 1960 ALF.

Take care and stay safe

Engine 63 will be the first Seagrave Marauder II Engine to be released by Code 3. It goes on sale February 4th.

Ladder 35 will be the first Seagrave Marauder II Aerialscope to be released, reportedly in April.

Need to save the extra cash for these new models (E63/L35). Also those 1960 open cab versions of Ladder 31, and 114 as G-man says. Thank you guys for the info.
