Commissioner Nigro staying on for another term

I see within the last hour or so Mayor de Blasio has announced that FD Commissioner Nigro will be staying on for another term. I was under the impression he was stepping aside after this term

Also Commissioner O'Neill will be staying on for another term as PD Commissioner
