Detailing FDNY Captains to OEM as Citywide Interagency Coordinators

I would think that the last year before promotion to BC would be better spent staying in the Field/Fireground & mentoring or ABC'ing rather than planning at demonstrations  & other OEM non fire related events....this has been done in the past w/CPTs detailed to OEM but basically to work there as OEM not in preparation for Promo to BC.
