Following are  the histories of Divisions 13 and 14 in Queens.  Notice that both Divisions were disbanded in 1995.  The 13th on March 21, 1995 and not reorganized for almost two years on January 21, 1997.  The 14th March 21, 1995 and not reorganized for almost two years on January 25, 1997.  How did they cover the divisional responsibilities during those years?????????????????

If memory serves, that was the year they renumbered all of the divisions from 1 to 8. Manhattan had DCs 1 and 2, Bronx, 3 and 4, Queens 5, Brooklyn 6 and 7, and SI still had 8. Brooklyn division 6 had responses into lower Queens. One of the Bronx divisions covered northern Manhattan and the other may have had responses in northern Queens.

It was a short-lived plan.
