Holocaust survivor Martin Greenfield, age 95, died Wednesday March 20. His passing earned him a front page obituary in the New York Times as well as half page obits in the Wall Street Journal and Washington Post.

In 1947 he started work at 239 Varet Street- two blocks west of Engine Company 237 (home box 295 Bogart and Rock Streets). In 1977 he bought the shop and the world beat a path to his East Williamsburg doorstep.

" The clothes make the man." Nothing beats a well made suit or uniform. Only in America! Rest In Peace.
