Hmmm... This Elmwood Park sounds like quite the place: according to the article, there's been No Decision on Capt. Fenn's future with the Department pending a ' Law Enforcement Report' on the incident.  Meanwhile it seems that the 'Law Enforcement Report' charging Fenn w/ assault by automobile, driving while intoxicated and reckless driving, was sufficient to initiate a ban of consumption and possession of alcoholic beverages at all four of the borough?s firehouses.
Also, acting police chief, Michael Foligno, said he asked the county police to handle the investigation to avoid the appearance of a conflict.
Yet later we find that EPFD Apparatus involved is being kept inside a building that is ?taped off? and has its windows covered, Foligno said.
Sounds like Acting Police Chief Foligno is involved in a 'Cover-up', Literally as well as Figuratively,
while acting to 'avoid the appearance of a conflict' !  ::)

Since the Captain has already been criminally charged, and the police chief was the person who made the statement about the apparatus location: what kind of cover-up could there be Stajo. The apparatus is evidentiary in the criminal investigation.
