According to channel 7, ABC-New York, 2 FDNY EMT's were rundown by their ambulance as it was being stolen in the Soundview section of the Bronx. Through another source, unconfirmed, bot members were transported to Jacobi Hospital in traumatic arrest. My prayers are with them.

Prayers are needed for 2 EMS in the Bronx. Their ambulance was stolen and they were struck by it. Details are still coming in, escort was set up to Jacobi Medical Center. We do not have any further information, please keep them in your prayers tonight.

Car 3 (Chief of the Department) to the Bronx, assign the administrative  Deputy to Jacobi

Car 12A  (Executive Assistant Safety and Inspectional Services) responding
 
Incident came over Bronx EMS South at 1907hrs

At 1918, all units operating on the 10-13 directed to switch to EMS CW1.  All other patient transports diverted away from Jacobi.
 
@NYCmayor is en route to Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx after a fatal incident involving two @FDNY EMTs.

This truly is Beyond Horrible.

My sincere condolences to the family members, friends, and to the members of the FDNY on this very tragic loss. It should have NEVER HAPPENED. These are individuals who have dedicated their lives to helping people. They did NOTHING WRONG.

A Life Savor in the City of New York for 14 years and a mother of FIVE Children gone for no reason. While her partner lays injured in the hospital as well.

Thank you to that off duty police officer and those civilians who stopped to help assist at this very despicable event.

For all the Firefighters, Paramedics, EMT's and Police Officers, the job keeps getting more dangerous. 
 
REST IN PEACE....PRAYERS FOR THE COMFORT OF THE FAMILIES....Hopefully something will be said regarding the fact that this POS had 31 prior arrests but was still out conducting criminal activity & this incident resulted in the loss of an innocent life.


 
Normally I think this would be a case of Manslaughter.

But I'm pretty sure in NYS the taking of a life of NYPD, FDNY or any other Civil Service may be a candidate for the death penalty.

Three strikes and your OUT!, and from the reports I've heard this SOB had a whole lot more than three.

Condolences to the family, God rest her soul - RIP!!!!!
 
I pray that SOB gets what he deserves. I have been in this field long enough and pray the DA doesn't try to make a plea deal. Give him life.
