FDNY DISP BILL LADDEL STARTS HIS 50th YEAR OTJ.

WOW - 50 years OTJ.

Congratulations Bill on your 50 years.

On November 3, 2019 at the closing of Rescue 2s quarters in Brooklyn I asked Bill; "When do you plan to retire" ? He said I'm NOT planning on retiring at this point.

Thanks Brad.

Bill Laddel is on the right. He's a GREAT Guy and Loves what he's doing.

The Quote; "If you Love your Job you Never Work a Day in Your Life". I think they had Billy Laddel in mind when they wrote that.

I'm sure many here also know the other two gentlemen in the picture as well.

"If you Love your Job you Never Work a Day in Your Life"  Never a truer word spoken!

God Bless, Bill!  Keep on truckin' and enjoying!

Bill a Friend for many , many years has attended several of our nycfire.net get togethers & has presented some great insight about the FDNY Dispatching Operations as well as much FDNY History.

Congrats Billy- a longtime member of the Fire Bell Club also.  The guy on Bill's right in the picture is "The Voice of Brooklyn" Waaahren Fuchs, Dispatcher 120.

Members of this site, today is a very special day.

Today, April 4, is the birthday of Retired FDNY B/C Jack Kleehaas, aka as ?68jk09?.

Chief Kleehaas has been a very good friend to so many of us here. He has a wealth of knowledge that he frequently shares with us in many topics here.

We are all very thankful and appreciative for all he has done for us.

Happy Birthday Chief and many more happy and healthy ones to come

Chief JK and all the guys, I meant to post this in the "News of Members" topic but I am glad that many of you saw it on Billy Laddels story.

Maybe if we weren't under this coronavirus quarantine, we could all be celebrating at Maggie Mays there in Bayside.

Thanks to all for your wishes....we will celebrate down the road in better times.....until then everybody stay healthy.
