The FCC is planning on taking all UHF T BAND from NYPD and FDNY

It will happen to 11 cities NYC is one of them

The plan is to auction off spectrum 470-512 and move all pubic safety to the 700 Meg's digital band

Is the FDNY in the process of exploring new frequencies or go back to the old VHF channels?
 
I doubt we're doing anything. All the licenses are in DOITT's name. We own nothing; unlike NYPD.
