Does anyone know how to configure the FDNY Twitter feed where you receive only the incidents versus the PSAs?  Thanks!

I have the same issue with the @FDNY feed. I actually follow both the feeds, @FDNYs incident alerts are usually real-time vs. @NYCFireWire which will sometimes tweet old incidents like it would happen now.

Wish the FDNY account posted the box #s too but other than that they're ontop of things. FireWire is great as well.

FDNY should consider a separate (second) Twitter feed for the PSA type notifications.  For those of us with a text message alert on the current feed all the non-incident Tweets are distracting.

Yes I agree, It's enough what I'm getting all these PSA's in English, I don't need to get them all again in Spanish translation, they should rather consider create a separate feed in Spanish, and maybe also in Chinese.

I don't have a smartphone, or facebook, or twitter account, is there any way I can monitor (or see) these alerts on a PC?

Similar to being able to look at (but not participate in) sites such as nycfirewire.  Thanks.

No need to have a twitter account, just bookmark this page: https://twitter.com/FDNYAlerts?lang=en  and open it whenever you like to monitor
