Injured Manhattan Box 43 March 12, 1878
Fireman Connolly died as a result of the injuries he sustained March 12th, operating at Manhattan Box 43, 174 Fulton Street. While operating on the roof of the burning F.O. Pierce & Company oil and paint warehouse, FF Connolly became disoriented by the smoke and fell through a skylight.
He was transported to Bellevue Hospital and died as a result of his injuries on March 14, 1878.
He was 25 years of age.
