Brad, aka "Signal73", Thank you.

Outstanding effort on reporting the First Due companies for each multiple alarm fire throughout the entire city.

Without the work done by the members who report these jobs, there would be "no" FDNY Fire Activity reporting.

Of course the real work is the work done by each member of the FDNY who played a part in each and every number counted here.

Then behind the scene of each and every one of these jobs are the fire dispatchers who were responsible for dispatching and answering all radio request from on the scene fire commanders. And the call takers who started each incident based on information received.

There was also the FDNY/EMS and the NYPD who played a part in each number listed.

When all that is done on a monthly schedule - only then can any FDNY Fire Activity numbers be reported.

Everything you say is right as rain, Bill.  But that doesn't take away from the fact that you take the time and make the effort to summarize for us every month.  And we all appreciate it.  ;)

Meanwhile here in Chicago you cannot get any kinds of numbers. Fire runs, EMS runs, none of that is available. Someone said that privacy regs prohibit the info on EMS runs, bull-shit. The number of times a company responds on an EMS call violates no one's privacy, no names or addresses are used. I posted on a few FB sites for the info and was told I had no right to get them. All I wanted to know is who is busy now vs 10-15 years ago, etc. So enjoy the info and appreciate the work done to get it.

If people want more info on average response times for Fire & EMS and the total number of incidents, this is a link you should take a look at ? https://www1.nyc.gov/site/fdny/about/resources/data-and-analytics/citywide-statistics.page

It has Monthly and Yearly stats going back to 2013

Of course these sheets do not go into the amazing  detail found on this thread or on this website, but for those interested it?s worth taking a look.
