It's happening on Thursday, the 20th of Aug!!!! After being closed for over 2 years the museum due to a construction incident next door to the the former fire station on Spring St in Lower Manhattan. The doors of the three-bay facility will once again be opened to the public. The building once held the three sections of Engine 30 besides the second section of Ladder 8.
