Just curious, is it common to have that many guys out of the Acadmey assigned to trucks ? I thought it was more common place to start on an engine and move across the floor to a truck after some experience ?

Its DAC McSweeney.  He didn't have a car assignement. He was a Deputy Chief in the 14th Division. He was promoted to DAC on Wednesday
