Started off in '79 @ E310, then moved across the floor to 174 truck. Promoted to fire marshal in '86, then TL85 in SI in '87. Then promoted to L168 for Lt. After years in the truck, he switched back over to E243 in Bensonhurst. Served in the 31 and 22 Battalions before becoming the D8 chief. Chief Leonard then worked his way up into higher citywide ranks. - Quite the career

He graduated from St. Francis College (I'm currently attending), FF. Jordan Sullivan (probie who saved an infant at his first fire from 105 truck) also graduated from SFC.

So did I, FDNYSTATENISLAND . . .  graduated in 1963, along with Ray Kelly (yes, THAT Ray Kelly).  Spent the first 3 1/2 years on Butler Street, then moved (except for the Physical Chemistry Lab) to Remsen Street in January 1963.
