New fire marshal unit to replace the current ambulance in use.
Will have tools and equipment for investigation
Also will have the interview area in the back.
 
Anything else on this?? would be curious to see what mfg they go with and if there is anymore specs on it

As a pretty wide spread between the high and low bids, looks like there must've been quite a bit of room for interpretation in the specifications.  Several of these bidders are not very well known commodities, especially to FDNY.  Isn't Odyssey, the one that did the new Battalion Chief Vehicles?
 
Am I correct in thinking that those costs (well over $1 million per unit) mean that the vehicles are delivered fully equipped?
 
That's total cost for 4 units plus 20k for something else  its on dcas site

The fact that they closed was discussed in the thread talking about a new vehicle for Fire and EMS command vehicles.
