On the Op-Ed page of this morning's Wall Street Journal is a review of the new book Five Floors Up written by Brian McDonald (Grand Central, 303 pages. $29). It is a biography of four FDNY generations of the William Feehan family. Described as intimate and deeply researched, the book gets a glowing review from Angelina Torre: an editorial fellow at WSJ. Commissioner Feehan's last day began at the North Shore Diner in Flushing. We all know how it ended.
