As a response to your post. 24 July 1915, employees from Western Electric in Cicero Illinois were treated to a company outing in Michican City Indiania. People rushed to one side of the vessel causing it to capsize, resulting in 844 deaths. Most of those involved were from St Mary of Czechtova (sp) in Cicero. Many families were wiped out with multiple fatalities. At its best WE employed 45,000 people This church is my family church, I was married there. Just a shout from the past.
