Since we are halfway through the year, figured I would post the current top 10 rankings. As always, this only includes structural work and does not include all hands for gas, emergencies, brush, cars/trailers, outside rubbish etc. Also, if an all hands was transmitted for a job extinguished prior to FD arrival, or a line wasn't put into operation, it generally isn't counted. I try to make the numbers include as little BS as possible. All numbers are generated from the posts on this site. Thanks.

#1. L32 - 19
#2. L165 - 18
#2. TL157 - 18
#4. TL138 - 17
#4. L113 - 17
#6. L123 - 16
#7. L174 - 15
#8. TL155 - 14
#8. TL107 - 14
#10. L59 - 13
#10. L48 - 13
#10. H&L147 - 13
#10. TL111 - 13
#10. L116 - 13

Bronx Engines have taken the Majority of the top ten spots for past 50+ years....But Brooklyn Ladders have taken the majority of top ten spots for past 50+ years. Surprised 120 and 124 have dropped back a bit.....but then again Queens trucks picking up more work. Thanks for sharing

I think 124's area may be one of the most gentrified areas in NYC over the past 10-15 years.

Peaks and valleys. 120 had a busy year in 2024. Slow 1st half. The law of averages applies to all.

A large response area plus a "poor" demographic will win in the long run.

Someone mathematically inclined should invent a "batting average". Work/responses???

As in, run to work ratio’s.

I think it's safe to say South Queens trucks are up there for probably the best "batting averages". Not a lot of running and a high number of jobs, especially after looking at the 2024 stats that got released. L133 probably has the best ratio OTJ

L133…1800 runs in 2024 with 130 AH+. Incredible. Similar runs to a SI truck company with 4x as many fires…now how many of their jobs are they FAST at?😂

I’d say 111’s area is up there as well with one of the more gentrified ones.
111 still seems to catch a good amount of work even though the neighborhood has changed so much. 124 seems to go weeks without work though. Maybe because some of 111 second and third due areas are still rough and 124 is surrounded by gentrified areas.

Jefferson St, Troutman St & Starr St from Irving ave down to Central Ave used to be some of the best and most consistent blocks for fire duty, especially when the Latin King had a presence in the neighborhood! Now nothing more than micro beer breweries, coffee shops, and art galleries…That‘s what happened to 124 !
