Thanks fdhistorian for the complete listing of companies covering the City of Hartford during the LODD of Firefighter Kevin Bell. I know that Bridgeport's companies had to leave at 4 am to get there by 6. Norwalk and Stamford are even farther away.

When there was two LODDs for Bridgeport a few years ago, a similar thing was done so that all members of the department could attend the services.

In the meantime I believe the second Hartford Firefighter remains in the Burn Unit from the injuries he recieved.

As one of two photographers requested by the Hartford Fire Dept. to photograph the funeral. I have with their permission posted pictures on my web site of the funeral.

Thanks very much Pat for posting your pictures on here of the LODD of Hartford Firefighter Kevin Bell, who made the Supreme Sacrifice on October 7, 2014. Your photos of this event will keep his memory alive and remind us of what firefighters are willing to do, everyday, across this Country and the World.
