Henrico County is just outside of Richmond. Fire address is about 2 miles east of downtown Richmond. Fire went to 4th Alarm before being brought under control.

A three-alarm fire displaced more than 60 seniors at Darby House apartments in east Henrico on July 4. At least four were hospitalized.

Henrico is the Department my son works for. Of course, he was off for this one. His company, Engine 317 responded to this from across the county. The call initially came in a an automatic alarm. When the first due Engine arrived, there was fire through the roof. Multiple rescues were made by the rsponding companies, with 4 transported and no fatalities, which is amazing since there were 60 plus occupants, many with mobility issues.

My Son is working today, may get to return for a watch line.
