Hewlett NY (Nassau) Working Fire 3/31/26

"This afternoon the East Rockaway Fire Department was alerted for a Mutual Aid Request to support the Hewlett Fire Department while they responded to a Working House Fire on Saddle Ridge Rd.
Assistant Chief Bristol and Ambulance 408 responded directly to the scene to support medical branch operations. Engine 404 responded initially to standby at Hewlett HQ's, but was re-directed into the scene and the crew as assigned FAST Engine duties upon arrival.
ERFD units operated for a hour and a half before being released by Incident Command."

"Today (3/31) the Valley Stream Fire Department responded mutual aid to the Hewlett Fire Department. Units were met with heavy fire on the first and second floors on arrival. Both 344 and 345 went to work for over an hour assisting in operations under the command of Chief of the Department Anthony Capone."
