I made a middle of the night , working box cellar fire in Independence Hall right after I went back in the field in 2000 or 2001.

At one time there was an underground cistern that held thousands of gallons of water across Chestnut Street from the building so PFD would have a guaranteed water supply in the event of a fire in Independence Hall.
