Jim Peruta has been a fire service photographer for over 50 years, Over the years he has traveled thought New England area, Metropolitan New York & NJ Area and beyond.
While photographing the fire service he has photographed many fire departments and attended firematic events. His passion is Fire Scene Photography and Preserving photos and history.
Jim retired from the Wethersfield CT volunteer fire department after 30 years with the rank of Captain. He also is a member of the Hartford CT Fire Department Photo Unit and is a member of several Firematic clubs.
