Today marks the 20th anniversary of the "newest" company in the F.D.N.Y.. On this date in 2005, Engine 168 went in service located in Rossville, Staten Island. It was a combination quarters with EMS Battalion 23. Stay well and be safe my friends.
 
Shanghai Express, alittle quick history nobody wanted to work at this firehouse. Shanghai means to force someone to work somewhere, lacking a full crew! I believe they still have 3-4 original members working on the company. Ladder 88 and Battalion 24 one day will happen.

It became a unified house with many fantastic people and times. Great times!
 
A few members and I from this site visited that firehouse with both FDNY and EMS units.
In fact, I think it was "Atlas" that made it possible.

Everybody seemed to be getting along well.
