OK guys before you think Grumpy feasted on some bad salmon bear with me. Mr Timberlake escorted a 23 year old marine to the USMC ball. In a civilian mode this would be escorting the Rose Bowl Queen. To you civilians (no respect intended) the USMC ball is a very, very important function. There is no such thing as a "former" Marine, you are an ex-marine. I am the proud father of a ex-marine and I am so proud of what he has done. 2 tours in Iraq, my wife will tell you thanx for the internet. I was a Forward Air Controller is SEA in 68/69. I had to rely on the mail for contact. We had almost immediate contact with him except for bad situations, and you knew it was bad, NO CONTACT. Can someone access Mr. Timberlake's site to see how he felt. Guys, he was humbled. And can you please post his emotions, my computer skills are hit the button and hope it turns green
