2nd alarm engine 6, 9 ladder 4
3rd alarm Methuen engine, andover engine, Lowell Ladder

Heavy smoke second and 3rd floor of a 3 decker upon arrival, fire extending into the cockloft, extensive water problems, able to keep one line in operation, extensive hose lays in progress.

17:15 : progress report, 1 ladder pipe, 1 snorkel, 5 handlines in operation all defensive operations fire remains doubtful

18:07 : progress report, 1 ladder pipe, 1 snorkel, 6 handlines in operation, still in a defensive mode, fire throughout the 3rd floor and cockloft, fire remains doubtful.  Still having water issues.

19:55 : fire now under control, picking up mutual aid companies.
