01:26 Alarm activation 22 Ballard Road
Engine 9,5,Ladder 4, Rescue 1 and Car 21 (DC)
Upon entering the building fire fighters were met by a yellow cloud.
Followed quickly by a second alarm, decon established, 4 firefighters transported to LGH with respiratory and contact
Engine 6,7 and Ladder 5.
Andover on scene as well
Tier 2 Haz-Mat with multiple agencies involved, Evacuations ordered in Andover and Lawrence.
08:50 incident still underway and information breaking.
Incident at a metal plating company: Regional Haz Mat team activated and responded, made entry isolated and contained situation.
09:44, incident under control , engine 6 ladder 4 and rescue returning, operations ongoing.
10:54, Engine 7 to relieve Engine 9 at scene.
