Least used FDNY unit?

What would be the least requested FDNY piece of apparatus in a year. I did see that the foam tender would only get called 2 or 3 times a year? Is there another spec ops truck that is available but hardly used? Just curious. I do know that Maury County,TN purchased a Terrorism Response unit shortly after 9/11 and still has never been used other than training exercise. Thanks

My vote goes to the LGA hose wagon. According to my records it has yet to have a single run in its 4 year lifetime. Next is the JFK hosewagon with 22 runs in 12 years.

LGA Hosewagon went out on box 2-2-37 way back in May.  I think it was the first and only time it's been toned out.

And how often do the reserve trucks get used?  They seem to get even less work than the reserve engines.

But my vote for least used FDNY unit: Governor's Island BFU.

Reserve Rigs get staffed for special events, like New Years Eve. I've only seen them used twice for major activity and that was after the 11th and for the blackout 5 years ago.

Reserve engines are used in Staten Island during the NYC Marathon. They have also been used during the Republican National Convention in 2004 and I've also seen them staged just south of the United Nations a couple of years ago. Oh, and let's not forget for filming movie scenes like at the South Street Seaport for that last Will Smith movie. ;)

I think every unit in NYC is the least used.

Engine 99 and Ladder 62 can handle EVERY job by themselves.

FDNYE54 that is not fake it is reserve Engine508 quartered at E-66 being used at Kingsbridge Armory during a film shoot. (Will Smith movie). It was manned by 19th Battalion members during movie shoot.

Also, all engines and trucks have spotlights now, and the rescues have raise-able spotlight banks.
