Lion Ace Commander gloves

Anybody know anything on this ?....  https://www.nbcboston.com/investigations/Chemical-in-Firefighter-Turnout-Gear-Eyed-As-Potential-Cancer-Agent-494194661.html

Chief there was an article in a fire service publication about this very subject and the research that the wife did. It didn?t gain much attention at the time. I?ll share if I can find it again. The chemicals in question are used to raise the TPP level of the gear which is the thermal rating of the gear. The higher the thermal rating the more marketable the gear is. If this gains the ground it should it will be a huge blow to the manufacturers and vendors as it should be. As she said. It?s the ultimate deception.

There used to be a store near LAD*20 that sold used turnout coats to hipsters......  I wonder if there are carcinogens in these new coats ......      https://www.google.com/search?q=calvin+klein+brown+aged+firecoat&source=univ&tbm=shop&tbo=u&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiP87iHndfdAhUION8KHSSXDREQ1TUIiQE&biw=1024&bih=523#spd=9818384325051577593

Aren't these the issued gloves now. They are all black in color unlike the black and tan ones.
