In all actuality there was no Tijuana Brass so to speak. Studio musicians did the work and when Alpert did something live they imported some musicians to back him up. At the studio it was a group who were called "The Wrecking Crew" and backed more artists recording than we have time to list or read here.

I caught the very end of the movie The Hot Rock with Robert Redford and a round nose Mack pumper goes by with 4 guys on the back step. It happened so fast didn't notice Co. #. Movie was from 72 or 73.

To keep it from snagging on something. When we loaded small arms ammo we had to remove all metal/sharp objects, watches, rings. The belts were turned aside like the garrison.
