All occupants clear of house, no exposures, can not get vehicles any closer to house than 1300 feet. BC 602 (Kelley) has commandeered a plow to assist with access. Tanker Task force and RIT en-route. "Building"a line to make attack. Exploring alternate access points and accessible water suppply.

Loudoun County is northwest of DC and is where most of Dulles Airport is located. The airport is on the south side of the County where it abuts Fairfax County.

A sprinkler system would have made it all better!
Fully agree. Not all that easy in this very rural setting. But you know what? For as much as they spent on the house, sprinklers wolud have been a drop in the bucket. The Chief there tried back in the 80's but the strong home building lobby and the archaic VA. legal system blew him off. And now we have a pile of rubble.
