Hearing MCC1 on the Manhattan Freq. this morning taking calls. Does FDNY have a detail set up for some reason? If so, why? Anybody know what it consists of?
 
Thanks, lots of calls going out. How does that work, does Manhattan give it to the MCC then MCC has strike teams (or something similar deployed)? It seems all calls in the area are going to the MCC, but for the remainder of Manhattan they're dispatching as normal.
 
Correct in the certain zone they go from Manhattan to MCC who then gets them out

Anything out of the zone is Manhattan Dispatched

Not sure if there are second sections or what but I know 201 was acting 4
 
NYPD putting over citywide in the confines of the 1st precinct an unconfirmed explosion. Now on the Manhattan Dispatch to Engine 4 and Ladder 15 assigned.

Edit: This was just a firecracker/small firework called an M80 allegedly. Got the Minor Technical Matrix briefly before being dropped to a 1&1, E004 and L015.
