You are right Dec, "I do NOT like that at all". I will speak to upper management about that.
However, there is another way to handle that and I saw it happen myself.
One department went to a drive up window and couldn't get the rig through to the drive up. It was a tower ladder and they parked the truck opposite the drive up window. They put the out riggers down, then operated that bucket over to the drive up window and picked up their order. Then they retracted their bucket and outriggers to go back to quarters. Meantime, the Probie got a chance to practice his newly acquired skill.
