New Contracts For 2000 GPM KME Pumpers Now Awarded to Seagrave 1/23/2019

Kind of hard to believe that KME would screw up a major contract like this. You would think they would know their build capacity when bidding on large unit orders like this. I wonder if the question is they were not making much money on them so they didn't mind losing them compared to many other orders.

And that doesn't consider their costs for all the warranty work they've had to do. Might well have decided it wasn't worth it.

The last KME that was delivered after months ago is assigned to E- 312.  The rig is KP1800

This rig was add-on to the last contract

As far as the contract KME forfitted there were NO pumpers in production and no delivery's were made .

Ok, Thanks.

Any word from your visit to 312?

I believe I saw E312's KME when I was at the Rock in January, but when I was there tonight I couldn't find it.

The companies with 2008 rigs will be first to get new rigs, the first 5 2008 have already been replaced by last batch of KME rigs. After the 08 it will be the 2009 and so on.

?? That's a very old post any other forum so the data sheet it sends you to is out of date. The contract was changed to Seagrave later than that list was made.

Engine 312 has NOT yet been assigned their new KME. The chauffeur said he last saw the new rig about 2 weeks ago and it was being towed  to the shops.

Not a Good Sign!

A Ken Kelly photo from the Seagrave factory.  Wonder where these trucks might be headed when they are done?
