Just found this on the Ferrara "In Production"  page.  TAC Unit #4415

I will venture a guess that there will be another one.

FDNY is putting a lot of eggs in the Ferrara basket.    :mad:
 
no white roof on this order either. Strange. I was going to ask when the were going to replace these because the current ones are almost 10 years old. Does anyone know what the deal with the 1998 TAC units was? they were only in service for 3/4 years before getting retired
 
Im assuming it would Look close to like Elizabeth's Merv minus the four door.

  TAC-2's rig #IM98002 was destroyed on 9/11 and the other one (TAC-1) became a spare.
 
Can we expect a replacement Field Comm at some point too? And what about some of the other older units, Squad 1's TRV?
 
anyone know why the cab is so high? look at the gap between the wheel well and the tire, I looked at another rig Ferrara is building on the same chassis and the gab isn't that big
