New FDNY Tillers

Thanks. Yes.
Considering how long it took H&L169 to go into service from first arriving, maybe even longer, unless there are no issues.
The reason L169 took so long to go in service is because the city wanted changes to the ladder storage area among other things.

I saw a new tiller with no markings or serial number at the Rock today. Anyone know if that's Ladder 151's new rig or is this an additional tiller delivered

what is the basis for your comment of 3 confirmed tillers, or maybe 5? And as stated in my post Seagrave had not indicated a time frame for assembly of these units. Now we are going to go from 11 to possibly 16? Many departments have been told there is up to a 2 year lag between placing the order and accepting delivery of the final product.
I am sure FDNY gets some VIP treatment due to volume and the marketing that goes with it and will not have to wait quite as long as a department ordering a single tiller once every 10-15 years. Remember Seagrave lost the contract not too long ago and if they are smart will bend over backwards to accommodate FDNY

Yes I guess the squeaking wheel get the grease while the other one falls off.
