Something similar happened in Cincinnati a few years ago only here one victim's body wasn't recovered until a few days later.

Out of curiosity, aside from Rescue 1, are there other companies trained for technical rescue in New Haven? I know they used to run 2 Squads up until they put the Rescue in service.

Do they have any support units like a box truck or trailers that carry additional equipment to support the Rescue?

Also, looked like a West Haven Tower Ladder in the photos. Were they special called in or was NH borrowing the rig?

New Haven is borrowing it

They have 1 spare T4A which T3 is using since their rig got hit on the highway

T1 is now OOS so they are using West Haven’s spare tower

@BCR you missed Car 37 in your run down. No respect 🤣

Engine 8 is basically a squad, they have squad 2’s old rig and all the equiptment without the name. They run out of whitney station with rescue 1 so they are all pretty much crossed trained. There is a trench/technical trailer but it was not needed for this incident

Where’s the Trailer now? Or was I not paying attention last time at Whitney
