"Cameras locations include: Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, Edgcomb Park in Harlem, High Bridge Park in Harlem and Gerritsen Beach in Brooklyn. Last year, the FDNY responded to an unprecedented amount of brush fires. While there has been a decrease in the amount of brush fires so far this year, the use of this technology will help further reduce the risk of these fires spreading and endangering New Yorkers."
