NY NATIONAL GUARD

The last time I was out to the 106th Air Wing, their fire chief was the former Captain of Squad 252.
 


These were taken at the Naval Air Station, NY (Floyd Bennett Field) when the 106th was an air refueling wing in the late 60's, prior to the move to Westhampton.  When I left the unit FD in the early 70's, it was still flying the KC 97's.
 
Thanks for the memories. I worked on the 750's back in the mid-60's.
