Our former Governor down here in Texas, Rick Perry, always reminded the citizens that gun control consisted of always keeping both hands on the pistol grip.
The biggest problem we have is the unconstitutional laws are put in place by Hochul (and Murphy) where I live to circumvent the Bruen decision by the Supreme Court. Gun free zones, in high crime places such as subways are an infringement on the 2nd Amendment and the right to carry in NY and NJ. Here in NJ it is a FELONY if you possess a magazine over 10rd. So you're a felon if you have a 15rd mag wtf? The lawyers are fighting but in these states it gets dragged through the courts and the AG and governors hold up rulings with appeals etc. I'm a Patron NRA life member and an ANJRPC member so I usually get weekly updates on what goes on. Not much difference between the 2 states but the unconstitutional "laws" have to stop. I've brought up to other gun owners that anyone denied their right to carry in a "gun free zone" should sue the governor, state and AG if they are injured or by family if they are killed because they were not allowed their Constitutional right of self defense.
